Jane Gallagher is a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor with a background in healing work that has spanned 12 years, and incorporated life coaching and hypnotherapy to address issues such as smoking cessation, habit change, & self-esteem. She balances clinical skills with holistic practices and spirituality. In addition to substance use, Jane has experience working with compulsive gambling and other process addiction in school and treatment center settings as an LADC supervisor, 245g supervisor, and treatment director. During that time, she was introduced to Medication-Assisted Therapy (MAT), an approach to help people navigate their own path in recovery, which may be abstinence-based, harm reduction based, or anywhere along the continuum.
Jane completed her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Adler Graduate School in 2022. She is personable, accepting, and nonjudgmental. Her clinical approach is person-centered and solution-focused incorporating humor, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness skills. Jane is skilled in working with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, adjustment and life change issues, as well as others, and will take the time to truly understand your thoughts, feelings, intentions, and motivations to assist you in behavioral change that is both healthy and meaningful. She believes that people have within them their own innate ability to heal, and would be honored to work alongside you in facilitating change.
