Kristina earned her MA in Psychology and Counseling from St. Mary’s University and works with adults (18+) who struggle with a range of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, low self-image, and divorce. As a therapist with an existential leaning, she understands that many times we may struggle with mental health challenges due to a lack of purpose, life changes, and relationship issues. Kristina’s work background encompasses diverse experiences, which include humanitarian work abroad. As an Egyptian American, she is very eager to work with others who come from diverse backgrounds, is able to provide both in person and virtual services in Arabic, and has a thorough understanding of multiple Arabic dialects.
Kristina is compassionate and sincere in her therapeutic approach, and places strong emphasis on the client-therapist relationship. She is most passionate about working with individuals who have, or are, experiencing divorce (whether personally or in their family), college youth transitioning to the workforce, individuals adapting to life changes and those grappling with questions related to their faith. Kristina enjoys helping clients gather insight, gain new perspectives, meet them where they are at, and empower them to reach their full potential. No matter your goal(s), please know that she would be honored to walk alongside you and will prepare a safe, supportive space.
In addition to therapy, Kristina assists Dr. Loomis and Dr. Tindall with neuropsychological evaluations. She is trained to evaluate patients from pediatric (ages 6+) to geriatric ages.
Kristina accepts all insurance plans except the following: Optum, Aetna, Humana, Tricare, and Medicare. Appointments can be made by scheduling online or calling or texting 612.842.9814.
